Refund Policy

Introduction

At AeFazzCard, we strive to provide exceptional service and value to our members. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which we may issue refunds for membership fees and other charges. Our approach to refunds is guided by the fazaa principles of fairness and respect for our customers.

Membership Fee Refunds

Cooling-Off Period

We offer a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of membership activation. If you are not satisfied with your membership during this period and have not used any discounts or benefits, you may request a full refund of your membership fee.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Technical issues that significantly impair the functionality of the digital card for an extended period
  • Substantial reduction in partner establishments (more than 30% decrease) within the first three months of membership
  • Relocation outside of the UAE (with proof of relocation)
  • Failure on our part to deliver the promised services or benefits

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • After the 7-day cooling-off period if you have used any discounts or benefits
  • If you change your mind after the cooling-off period
  • For unused portions of your membership after the cooling-off period
  • If your membership is terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions
  • If individual partner establishments change their discount offers or cease participation

Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

  1. Contact our customer service team at refunds@aefazzcard.shop or call +971 4 330 0000
  2. Provide your full name, membership number, and reason for requesting a refund
  3. Submit any supporting documentation that may be required (e.g., proof of relocation)

Review Process

All refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days. We may request additional information or documentation to process your request. Our customer service team maintains the fazaa standard of respectful and efficient communication throughout this process.

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. The time required for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and typically takes 5-10 business days.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds based on:

  • The duration of membership already used
  • Benefits already received or discounts already redeemed
  • Administrative costs incurred

Partial refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis, less an administrative fee of AED 100.

Card Replacement Fees

The AED 50 fee for replacing lost or damaged physical cards is non-refundable once the replacement card has been processed.

Special Circumstances

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions) that significantly affect our ability to provide services, we will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis with the fairness characteristic of fazaa community values.

Medical Circumstances

In cases of serious medical conditions that prevent a member from using their membership, we may consider partial refunds or membership extensions with appropriate medical documentation.

Membership Transfers

As an alternative to refunds, we may allow you to transfer your membership to another eligible individual. A transfer fee of AED 150 will apply, and the new member must complete the application process and meet all eligibility requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage members to review this policy periodically.
